Learn at a pace that suits you, with as many driving lessons as you need, over as long a time frame as you need. Ian will work flexible hours which means that he can fit the driving lessons around your working hours and commitments. Our driving lessons last the full hour.

Refresher //
Refresher tuition is available for drivers who may not have driven for a while or for people who feel nervous about getting behind the wheel. Ian's patience and understanding will build your confidence and get you back on the road in no time.

Fast Pass //
This 10 hour fast pass course includes the hours for your practical test.

This course is aimed at learner drivers that have over 20 hours of driving experience and just need a small number of lessons.

Theory //
We can assist you with the necessary knowledge and training to pass your theory test.
​
You will need to pass it before you are eligible to apply for your practical driving test, therefore this should be applied for and passed as soon as possible. You will need to arrange and pay for it yourself.
​
The first part consists of 50 questions and you must get over 44 correct. The 2nd part is the hazard perception test. The test is out of 75 and you need over 47 to pass.

The driving theory test is a requirement to enable you to go forward and take your practical driving test. The good news is the test may be carried out at your home, or in an agreed place, to be decided.
Appointments for both the driving theory test and practical driving tests can be made either on line or by telephone through the Driving Standards Agency.

Some driving schools focus on just getting you through the test. However, we really do care about your future driving career as well as your test success.

Intensive Courses are not for everyone, but if you think you have got what it takes and are prepared to put in the effort, they are a great way of getting on the road quickly.

This 32 hour intensive course will usually consist of 7 hours of tuition per day for the first four days, followed by 4 hours of tuition on the final day.
A typical day for this length of course would be 0900 to 1600hrs.

Amber //
This 36 hour intensive course will usually consist of 7.5 hours of tuition per day for the first four days, followed by 6 hours of tuition on the final day.

A typical day for this length of course would be 0900 to 1630hrs.

This 40 hour intensive course will usually consist of 8 hours of tuition per day for five days.
​
A typical day for this length of course would be 0900 to 1700hrs.

Your Driving Lessons //

An intensive driving course or fast pass course does not suit everyone, as you will need to retain and put into practice a great deal of information over a shorter period of time.
​
On average, the pass rate for an individual taking an intensive course drops to approximately 35%, meaning just over 1 in 3 intensive course learners fail their driving test at the first attempt.
​
Before you take a driving test you must reach a minimum standard. Anything less and you are not ready to sit the test. In this case you may not be able to cancel the test without losing the fee.
If, after considering the above, you think an intensive driving course is for you then remember, the more hours you are prepared to put in, the better your chance of passing your test!
